We serve several industries but are best known for serving the hospitality market (new build and renovation) nationally. Our proprietary millwork solution (Mill-Rite) is a flexible and comprehensive method to efficiently deliver high-quality custom millwork at industry leading prices. The industry is beginning to adopt our solution and we see a substantial growth opportunity that we are just beginning to capitalize on. We work with the leading hospitality firms (e.g. Marriott, Hilton, and IHG etc.), brands (e.g. Fairfield Inn, Embassy Suites, and Holiday Inn Express), ownership groups and general contractors. Job Opportunity: General Labor / Machine operator positions Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain a safe work environment for all employees • Sets up and operates variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate high-grade millwork. • Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit, using clamps or clamping machine. • Drives nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints. • Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare articles for finishing • Apply, brush, or spray assembled articles with protective or decorative materials, such as stain, varnish, or paint. • Install hardware, such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls. Education and Experience: • Millwork experience preferred. • High School diploma or equivalent • Computer skills Environmental Conditions: Work is performed usually in a typical office environment where there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. • Proper personal protective equipment is required to be worn when in the warehouse and factory. • Ability to lift over 50 lbs. • Ability to work overtime and including weekends when needed. • This position is for 2nd shift. 12-8/10pm Disclaimer: • All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. • This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) occupying this position. Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Education and Experience:
• Millwork experience preferred.
• One to Three years’ experience in manufacturing and CNC operation.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills
